Well it's day 4 (actually it's not but we haven't updated in a couple of days). We're getting close to Nashville and stopped for a short break to walk the dogs and have lunch. When we pulled off the interstate, we stumbled directly to this little lake. As we stood on the shoreline, in the shade of the evergreens, it's hard to rationalize returning to the bare desert. There was a cool breeze blowing and the dogs were mesmerized as they watched the ducks swim slowly across the water... ahhh.. smell the air...
