The reason for this long journey is multi-faceted. First of all, we want to visit my family. I haven't been home in a few days, well weeks... I mean months... or years. I need to visit them. The second reason is for the enjoyment of a real "vacation". An adventure, if you will. The last reason is our final destination, Gatlinburg, TN. The Great Smoky Mountains.
